We believe that the command Jesus gave to all disciples is to make disciples. The
church is called to be a community of faith that glorifies God, walks with people
as they grow in faith, and reaches out in service to God’s people. We believe that
the message of Christ is one of grace and forgiveness that reconnects us with our
Creator. We believe that God has created us all with gifts to reach people with
this message.
At Suwanee UMC, our vision is to be a church that makes disciples that grow, serve,
and make disciples that grow and serve. Through our worship on Sundays, our study
of God’s word in small groups, and our outreach to the community we are a place that
helps people grow into being the person God created them to be, gain a passion to
serve God’s people, and possess a desire to see others come to know the joy of a
relationship with Christ. As others come to find this relationship, we can them
help them grow in that relationship, gain a passion to serve others, and possess
a desire to see others come to know the joy of a relationship with Christ. As this
continues, we are fulfilling Jesus’ command to make disciples!
