United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women
with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing
leaders and advocating for justice. Globally members raise up to $20 million each
year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United
States and in more than 100 countries around the world.
The Suwanee First UMW meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings
often take place at one of the member’s homes. The UMW meet together for spiritual
growth and to plan and work on special mission and service projects. The UMW run
a campaign each summer to buy school supplies and back packs for local children who
need assistance preparing for the new school year.
The UMW encourages all the women of Suwanee First to join and participate UMW Ministry.
